Anyone who lives in the Livermore area realizes how dramatically weather can vary over time and short distances. Additionally, we all notice when it is dry, windy, and hot. Wildfires also "notice" the weather. Thus, it is important to periodically check weather conditions to watchout for those times when humidity is low, winds, temperatures, lightning activity levels, and resultant wildfire risks are high.
